Jaqualine P. McMillan

Jaqualine McMillan was born in Iowa and raised around the Fort Worth area. Jaqualine attended Texas A&M where she graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Business Administration. After college, Jaqualine interned for Laura Bush in the Bush Administration in Washington, D.C. as a writer. Jaqualine attended South Texas College of Law, on an academic scholarship, where she graduated Valedictorian. While at South Texas, Jaqualine was the Chairman of the Board of Advocates and competed in state and national mock trial and moot court competitions for South Texas’ nationally ranked advocacy program. Jaqualine was selected for inclusion into the invitation-only group for advocates, Order of the Barristers, because of her oral advocacy abilities. She was awarded the Dean’s Outstanding Advocate Award as well as multiple awards from her involved in mock trial and moot court competitions and was a two-time regional moot court champion. After graduating law school, Jaqualine was an Adjunct Professor where she helped students with trial strategies and the presentation of evidence at trial.

For almost a decade, Jaqualine worked at one of the country’s most prestigious defense firms, Norton Rose Fulbright, where almost the entirety of her practice was dedicated to representing oil and gas and petrochemical companies in a wide range of mass tort, toxic tort, premise liability and complex catastrophic personal injury litigation arising from catastrophic events such as fires, explosions, pipeline ruptures, chemical exposures, or environmental disasters. Jaqualine also represented health care institutions, pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, and health care providers in severe personal injury cases.

She has been selected by her peers for inclusion in Texas Super Lawyers Rising Stars by Thomas Reuters, Personal Injury – General: Defense and Personal Injury – Products: Defense every year since 2018. In 2021, Jaqualine became a partner at the McMillan Law Firm and handles all stages of litigation. She is currently the Plaintiffs’ E-Discovery Liaison for the Watson Grinding MDL litigation and is working with leadership in the ITC MDL litigation.

Jaqualine is licensed in Texas and Colorado and has practiced extensively in state and federal Court. Jaqualine and her family split time between Houston, Texas and Denver, Colorado.
